My take on Pasta Fagioli soup.
There are as many versions as there are cooks. My Hungarian cooking is extremely similar to northern Italian cooking, so it’s not much of a stretch. I had already worked out the recipe in my head, then cross referenced Lidia and Marcella just to be sure I hadn’t missed something.
My version always had white cannelini beans, red kidney beans, carrots, onions, greens.



My foods are never the same, always a bit different depending on vegetables available, I’ll use recipes as a guideline not gospel.
